This video provides information and tips on how to use NÜOBELL safely and correctly. This applies to both NÜOBELL 220 & 232 and NÜOBELL 550 & 580.

Our weight plates are powder coated iron cast. Our handles are made of anodized aluminum along with the cradle. The plastic details are ABS and Nylon polyamide to make the NÜOBELLs quiet, smooth and maintenance free.

The NÜOBELLs are made for training at home. The mechanism is advanced technology, and like most adjustable dumbbells, they are not designed to be dropped continuously.
Many can agree that quietness, design, easy and smooth weight adjustments with low increments are key for residential use; this is a compromise on the extreme durability. Use them normally, with love and care and they will last (almost) forever.

We produce NÜOBELLs in kg and lb and deliver according to our reseller’s local preferences. The weight range conversion from Kg – lb is approximate with a minor deviation:

• 50 lb = 22.7 kg
• 80 Lb = 36 kg

NÜOBELLs is produced in a variety of colors. Our standard is black. However, we do sometimes create custom colors for authorized resellers. Please visit the authorized reseller in your region to find out what colors of NÜOBELL they have available.

Actually it’s not like any other plastic – we use ABS and Nylon polyamide. Nylon is proven to be a harder material than aluminum, is one of the strongest engineering plastics, with high tensile, impact strength, and high abrasion resistance while also having high lubricity. We use Nylon to protect the units and make it quiet and smooth during exercise, and hold the plates together. ABS allows material flexibility to absorb impact and keep its shape instead of retaining damage. ABS is built into the cradle and details in the handle. Likewise, the “soft” characteristic of the Nylon plates protects your floor from damage when using your NUOBELLS. All elements of NUOBELL construction serve a practical function. Our products are engineered with choice materials and tested in Husqvarna, Sweden.

NÜOBELL is the standard model which inspires our partner collaborations. Under license agreements, partners may have modified aesthetic or certain functions that are important for their community of users and resell these versions of NÜOBELL under their own brands.

The NB232 is the KG model with weight range 2-32 kg (sold outside of the U.S. and Canada). The NB580 is the USA & Canada model with weight range 5-80 LB.

NÜOBELL 220 and NÜOBELL 232 are the next generation of FLEXBELL dumbbells. NÜOBELL dumbbells are even more robust than their predecessors due to a refined mechanism in high-quality steel, ensuring an even more controlled total body workout. The second difference is the incremental weight range of 2 kg instead of 4 kg for every “twist and peel”, enabling more variety for a total body workout at home, especially when you are weightlifting with your NÜOBELLs. This change and improvement came partly from feedback from our loyal NÜOBELL community, who communicated that they would prefer a smaller incremental weight increase, particularly when lifting weights over 20 kg. This is one of the many reasons NÜOBELL was named the World’s Best Dumbbells 2021 by Men’s Health Magazine.

By design, NÜOBELLs can only be bought in pairs. The price of the dumbbells includes a set of two.

We have a thorough selection process when choosing reselling partners. If we do not currently have a partner in your country or region, please check back soon as our list is updated regularly. We will also communicate new partners on our social media channels.

NÜO Athletic only works with carefully selected resellers. You will find our authorized resellers on our website under the heading “Resellers”, followed by a list of countries. For each country, we list the names and websites of our authorized resellers. We exclusively work and deliver to the partners listed on this page, hence if you buy or get offers from any other sources, they are likely not genuine NÜOBELLs.

Yes, if you have bought a NÜOBELL 220 or 550, you can increase its weight range to 232/580 with the NÜOBELL Expansion Kit. Shop here or visit your closest reseller to purchase the kit.

If you have ordered from one of our authorised resellers, please contact them directly. However, if you have ordered directly with us, simply refer to your order confirmation email for additional shipping details. Alternatively, please contact us, quoting your order number.

Our standard delivery time is 3-5 days business days for most countries. There may be some cases where transit time can take up to 8 business days for rural areas.

After placing an order, you will receive tracking information from the carrier. For any changes or corrections, please contact the carrier directly. The contact information will be stated in your confirmation email.

The delivery will be to your entrance door/address stated in the order. Please note that the NÜOBELL 232 comes in 3 boxes in total while the NÜOBELL 220/550/580 comes in 2 boxes.

Online orders are immediately received by our Fulfillment Center and shipped within one business day. If you need to cancel within this time, email support@nuoathletics.com and we will work to cancel your order.

If your order has already been shipped, you may initiate a return by requesting a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). Refer to our Return & Refund Policy and follow instructions here. A 20% restocking fee is applied to all returns in the US.

To make product changes to your order, first cancel your initial order as instructed above, and place a new order. A customer service rep would be happy to help.

Sorry, product changes cannot be made while orders are in transit.

To change a shipping address while your order is in transit, contact the shipper service directly via the confirmation email they sent with the tracking information.

EU orders are shipped from Czech Republic. US orders are shipped from Tennessee and Utah.

EU Tax and duties are included within the standard of OSS where you will pay your local tax rate for your country directly in our shop. No extra costs are added after you have paid in our web shop.

All US prices displayed are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be calculated and added to your order total at checkout, based on your shipping address.

To initiate a return, please first read our Return & Refund Policy and follow instructions here. A 20% restocking fee is applied to all returns in the US.

The best way to report a faulty product is to contact the NÜOBELL reseller you bought it from. The information and process you need to follow will be either on your purchase order or on the partner's website. The warranty, conditions and process are up to our authorized resellers discretion. Please note, NÜO Athletics only work with carefully selected resellers. You will find a list of our authorized resellers on our website under the heading “Resellers” followed by a list of countries. In each country, we link to the websites of our authorized resellers. We exclusively work and deliver to these partners.

The NÜOBELL Adjustable Dumbbells are a very low maintenance product and arrive with handle mechanisms that are pre-lubricated from the factory. However, it’s good practice to refer to tips in your user manual on how to keep the product attractive and functioning well.

If you purchased NÜOBELL Dumbbells from a retail store, please contact the store where you purchased your dumbbells. We are not responsible for distributor representations.

If you purchased NÜOBELL Dumbbells or Stands direct from www.nuoathletics.com, start here.

For warranty service, you will need:

1. Your original receipt with order number.
2. A video or photo with explanation of the damage claim.

To help extend the life of your product, NÜO will replace parts free to the customer during the 4-year warranty period, however, customers are responsible for shipping and handling costs of these replacement parts. (Rare exceptions to this policy are product recall or equipment-defect servicing.)

What’s not covered under your warranty:

• Dropping or slamming damage.
• Cosmetic marks, normal wear and tear.
• Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, tampering, etc.
• Using products against recommendations or in non-residential environments.
