When my stand arrived, the cross bar in the middle of the stand was built wrong. The screws provided with it would not work. I had to go and buy my own bolts just to make it work.
Good dumbbells would have gave it 5 stars if it had better knurled grip for the handle gets slippery when hands are sweaty
I avoided adjustable dumbbells for years, assuming the mechanism would feel like a compromise. It doesn’t. Changing the weight takes a couple of seconds, and that one detail has reshaped my training: drop sets, supersets and warm-up ramps no longer stall.

Two honest caveats: the price is steep — this is a real investment, not an impulse buy. And you can only change the weight while the dumbbell sits in its base, so the stand has to stay within reach.
Neither stopped me recommending them. If you’re on the fence like I was: don’t be. Five stars.
Hubby had open heart surgery 2 months ago. Dr suggested an at home dumbbell set to rebuild slowly. This set/stand was perfect. Very sleek and not ugly in my house! The Dr was jealous when we showed him photos of our set up
Like the dumbbells but dont understand why the 60lb and 100lb gets the update of being built stronger with s series and skip the 80lb.Why not do them too.
These arrived impeccably shipped, but right away I noticed a few dings/scratches on the green finish. It doesn’t affect the functionality, but was a bit disappointing considering the price. However, after a handful of workouts, I’ve found that it has been very easy to switch weights during quick transitions and they feel solid, even during overhead moves. Overall, I’m very happy so far with this investment.
These dumbbells are the best. I love them and so glad I bought them. I can go from 5lb’s too 100lb’s fast and easy. From heavy RDL’s too light lateral shoulder raise complex. When training peripheral heart action in my workouts. Go big or go home!
We love the compact, cageless form factor, the speed and ease of adjustment, and the overall fit and finish of our S560s. We’ve never had the plates jam when placing them back in the cradle, and never had a loose plate after adjusting. The mechanism provides plenty of haptic feedback to let you know when the handles have locked into the selected weight. The knurling is tame, as other reviewers have noted, but as long as our palms aren’t sweaty, there’s plenty of grip. I may add a silicone tape wrap for added grip in the future.
I was looking for dumbbells that are compact, sturdy, and quick to adjust after finding myself skipping exercises because I didn't want to load up my old handles. The S5100 seemed to meet those needs while also looking great and having a cageless design.
So far I'm very impressed and they exceed expectations. My only complaint is I wish the material on the plates was sturdier. Somehow I gouged one of the plates my first workout and not sure what I bumped against to do that. As long as they continue to function correctly I'm not that concerned about scratches and dings they will accumulate hopefully for years to come.
2 weeks I use it, nice product, change weight easily, 4 stars because I bit expensive compare now to others product that start to appears on the market. So if Nuo want to stay leader, price should be reviewed in a near future.
I purchased this item as a gift for my son and the smile on his face said it all!!! I hope this item will perform well for many years to come.
I found out about adjustable Dumbbells just weeks ago and these instantly caught my eye. They are versatile, fast to Change weight and feel high quality. They use little shelf space in my study, which is perfect for people with limited space at home. Combined with a weight bench, i can perform additional focused Workouts besides my gym Sessions. I love me :-)
Love these weights! Look great and perform great. The handle grip is exactly the right size and the adjustment works so easily I completely stopped using my other free weights.
Great stand! The height adjustmant is too tight on one of the sides, so barely movable. Also, when installing, the holes for the bar in the middle didn't have marks so I had to do trial and error.
Works well. I might have wanted an additional inch or two of width but I can access the dumbbells comfortably. It’s really solid/heavy duty.
Major pace savings and the dumbells feel great in use.
