I dropped one of mine and jacked it up. I ordered a new dumbbell that came-in quickly and getting the job done!
These are perfect dumbells. The only con I have is you can only adjust the weight when it is in the cradle.
Just started using these. They appear to work nicely and adjust quickly.
The entire process from online ordering to delivery exceeding expectations. The product arrived earlier than estimated and in perfect condition.
Feel, look and function are excellent. Won’t find a better adjustable dumbbell.
They look good, they feel good. So far I’m a big fan of this product. Easy to assemble, they adjust very smoothly. Don’t have any negative things to say
I’m extremely happy with my Nüobell 232 Silver dumbbells. Adjusting the weight is super easy with a simple twist, and the satisfying click makes me want to train every time I see them.
Each dumbbell adjusts from 2 kg to 32 kg in 2 kg increments, offering 16 settings—perfect for both beginners and advanced users. The grip feels secure and comfortable, and the overall build quality is solid and safe, even during heavier exercises.
They’re compact and save a lot of space compared to a full dumbbell set, making them ideal for home gyms. I didn’t get the stand due to lack of space, but if you have room, I’d highly recommend it for added convenience.
Delivery was smooth, though the set arrived in three packages. The price is on the higher side, but the quality and versatility make it worth it.
Overall, I highly recommend the Nüobell 232 Silver to anyone looking for high-quality, adjustable dumbbells for their home workouts.
It's great to have a well weighted, compact, 80lb dumbbell. I love these.
I've been using these for a month or so and am very happy with them. Changing weights is fast and buttery smooth. They are exceptionally solid feeling, well-balanced, and I prefer the lighter knurling than you would find on some competing products, like the REP adjustables. They look great, feel really great in the hand, and have an overall sense of quality design and craftsmanship.
I did have a quality issue - one dumbbell adjustment began to fail after about a week of use, but Nuobell service is excellent, responded very quickly, and replaced the impacted components with minimal fuss.
I have some nitpicks:
The inner surface of the weight stack (ie, what your hand would touch on either side if you're gripping the handle) is both plastic and irregularly shaped. This doesn't impact traditional function in any way, but if you wanted to hang these from a chain for weighted dips/pullups, I think they'd be damaged. It also impacts movements where you would grip the dumbbell by the inner surface - such as dumbbell pullovers, two-handed tricep extension, etc. You can do it, but the fact that it isn't a flat surface can make it uncomfortable and makes me worry about dropping one. By contrast to REP, these do not have the extra support bars as part of the handle, which I much prefer. But those support bars can be used to hold onto for pullovers and extensions - with these, I feel like you're left kind of without good options.
I don't drop these and can't imagine why I would. Even with fixed dumbbells, I've never found the need to throw them to the floor after a lift. Maybe that's because my home gym floors are uncovered and I'd wreck the floor as much as the dumbbell. But the innermost weight plate is really thin and potentially fragile. If you're doing lateral raises, for example, you must ensure you don't clang them together at the bottom of the eccentric, as it does seem like it would be easily possible to bend the inner weight plate, which would mean the heavier plates won't align correctly. All of the weight plates other than the inner one are very robust and well-designed. I do wish Nuobell could come up with a way to make the inner ones stronger as well as make the inside surface of the handle non plastic.
Some adjustability would make this perfect. My legs are long, so if I want to squat slightly with a stiff back to lift fully loaded, my shins will sometimes hit the cross member. I think a bit of adjustability vertically and perhaps distance between dumbbells would be great, but still totally functional as is. I've been picking dumbbells off the floor for a year prior to having this and I'm never going back.
I really like these dumbbells. I like the construction and the fast weight changes. However, one thing I would like changed is a more aggressive nurling. It’s not an issue when using them for pushing movements but when pulling or delt raises a more aggressive nurling would help.
Feels like using regular dumbbells. They are very easy to change and feel solid on lifts.
Only used a couple weeks but my husband loves his weights and stand. Well made and easily adjusted.
the stand is a solid design and holds the dumbells well (80 Lb version) but it requires a bit more of a lift and shrug than I would prefer. This is obviously a very minor issue and largely dependent on your height and arm length,
